Refund Policy

Canceling a subscription is different from refunding an amount already paid. The request process and final decision-maker depend on the payment platform, so review the terms below.

Payments in the Android app

Google handles refunds for in-app payments made through Google Play. Request a refund from your Google Play purchase history or follow the Google Play support process.

Approval is subject to Google Play’s policies and decision. TripNotePlan cannot reverse Google’s decision.

Polar payments on the web

A new web subscription processed by Polar may be considered for a full refund when requested within seven days if paid features have not been materially used or a technical error prevented their use.

A renewal payment may be considered for a full refund when requested within 48 hours if paid features have not been materially used. We may consider a prorated refund for a period when a service error prevented use of paid features.

When a refund may be limited

A refund may be limited if paid features have already been materially used, the request period has passed, the request is based only on a change of mind, the issue comes from the user’s device or network, or access was restricted for violating the terms.

Mandatory rules of applicable law or the payment platform take priority where they apply.

How to request a web payment refund

Email [email protected] with the registered email address, reason for the request, payment date and amount, and Polar order identifier. Do not send a full card number or account password.

Review may take one to three business days. If approved, the refund is returned to the original payment method.
